Welcome to the Law Office of Edward M. Branscomb. I opened my office about two years ago after graduating with the first class from the Elon University School of Law (2006-2009). I have an undergraduate degree from UNC-Greensboro, and I’ve primarily resided in Greensboro since 1991. I do a good bit of court appointed work for indigent defendants, and I also represent clients in private practice.

Prior to law school, I worked as a paralegal for about eight years, working hand in hand with clients from day one, monitoring their medical treatment, attempting to reach a settlement of their claim before filing a lawsuit, and helping guide the client through the steps of litigation when a lawsuit was necessary until the cases were generally settled before trial.

As a solo attorney, I feel I’m able to offer more personal attention and prompt attention to your legal problems than attorneys at a larger firm who have to divide their attention across a much larger caseload. With the more flexible schedule of a solo attorney, I’m available to speak to and meet to clients outside ‘9 to 5’ business hours and on weekends as needed.
